Valentine's Day will soon be here and where would we be without the onslaught of pink and red? And what kind of crafty lady would I be without making my own contribution? I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day. I like the sentiment. I like candy. I like any excuse to go out to dinner. However, I'm definitely of the "why do you need a day?" camp. Also, it makes me sad to think that kids may be getting their feelings hurt in school that day. I encourage all parents to practice giving each kid in the class a Valentine - that is, if your school still allows this.
